Hewlett-Packard "Golden Calculator Awards"
Infinity Marketing Team, Inc. assisted the HP Calculator Division in celebrating 35 years since the introduction of the world's first handheld scientific calculator, the HP 35! In order to get their calculator fans involved, HP decided to hold a 35th celebration contest where they invited customers to share their experiences, or simply be creative, with HP Calculators by submitting a short video (digital camera video) using a HP Calculator at home, workplace, travel… wherever. Entrants to the celebration contest were given a chance to win a trip for two to Hollywood to enjoy the HP Golden Calculator Awards ceremony. The objective HP celebration contest was first and foremost, to raise awareness (buzz) around HP Calculators, the new HP 35s (scientific pocket calculator), and to expose the HP calculator brand to a broader audience as well gain insights and share stories from their traditional loyal users.

Calculator Award Finalists were invited to a stylish award ceremony held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, home of the original Academy Awards ceremony. Reminiscent of the Academy Awards, categories included Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Screenplay and Best Technical Film. Guests were able to enjoy an elegant and exciting evening filled with food, drinks and fantastic entertainment and winners of each category were presented with their own personalized Golden Calculator Award. One of the highlights of the evening was an appearance by Sean Gullette, star of the award-winning movie "pi", who presented the Voters' Choice award. The Voters' Choice winner won an HP 50-inch High-Definition Plasma TV!
